Does anyone have wrench/bike skills that can help out with replacing the fork seals on a 98 suzuki GS 500? My friend is also saying that his bike died on him a couple of times while riding between Herforst and Zimmer. The bike was sitting for a time while he was deployed so I'm sure that has something to do with it. Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Vic i'd give you a hand but leaving tomarrow for my trip. I'd run a half bottle of carb cleaner through the tank to get any varnish out of the float bowls and even clean the plugs. They shouldn't need replaced just cleaned.

No worries. He knows about the place in Trier and I also told him about the Suzi place in Brecht. I was just trying to save him some beans.

There is still the Shop in Bombogen that took care of my Shadow... I think I paid like 50 Euro (incl. Parts) for him to replace my fork seals.

What's the name of the place? Is it closer than Brecht or Trier?
