Does anyone have wrench/bike skills that can help out with replacing the fork seals on a 98 suzuki GS 500? My friend is also saying that his bike died on him a couple of times while riding between Herforst and Zimmer. The bike was sitting for a time while he was deployed so I'm sure that has something to do with it. Any help or advise would be appreciated. _________________ Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Vic i'd give you a hand but leaving tomarrow for my trip. I'd run a half bottle of carb cleaner through the tank to get any varnish out of the float bowls and even clean the plugs. They shouldn't need replaced just cleaned. _________________ 2007 Harley Touring FLHTCU "103"

No worries. He knows about the place in Trier and I also told him about the Suzi place in Brecht. I was just trying to save him some beans.

There is still the Shop in Bombogen that took care of my Shadow... I think I paid like 50 Euro (incl. Parts) for him to replace my fork seals. _________________ 1986 Honda Shadow VT750C

What's the name of the place? Is it closer than Brecht or Trier? _________________ Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
